![]() SILVER – Empowering Seniors: Digital Financial Literacy Initiative Supported by AI February 2025 – March 2026 The SILVER project aims to improve the digital financial literacy of older adults through a flexible, AI-supported learning environment. It targets two main groups: older adults and adult educators. The project will create an e-Studio with four modules focused on digital financial literacy, allowing seniors to learn at their own pace. The e-Studio incorporates AI-based tools to personalize learning paths and assess skills. E-Seniors is responsible for the e-Guide intended for adult educators, who will be trained to facilitate these sessions using a learning model designed for effective training. Forty-eight seniors will be trained, with a focus on those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Project Objectives ● Create a flexible learning space supported by AI search algorithms to develop and assess older adults’ digital financial literacy. ● Develop adult educators’ capacity to facilitate training for seniors. ● Provide seniors with training in digital financial literacy using the flexible learning space developed. To achieve these objectives, the following outcomes are expected: 1) The educational e-Studio “Seniors’ Path to Financial Inclusion in the Digital Age” is a flexible self-learning space for seniors. It includes 4 digital learning modules presented in the form of MOOCs (massive open online courses) with short video clips—48 seniors will be trained. 2) A guide for adult educators to effectively facilitate training based on the e-Studio—6 adult educators/facilitators will be trained and prepared to lead training sessions using the e-Studio. https://silver.einc.lt/ |

![]() SmartHome automation for seniors using simple DIY solutions Duration: December 2021 – June 2024 (30 months) Technological advances have made our daily lives easier with the tools offered by technology to manage and automate most of our daily routines related to work or home. DIGIT-GERA February 2022 – End of January 2024 The DIGIT-GERA project aims at creating something that has not been created before, a comprehensive methodology for teachers of seniors built under an European and common approach. Partners of DIGIT-GERA project are active in many educational environments for adult education; but when it comes to providing tailor-made training programs for seniors, some of them lack the knowledge and skills to do it in a meaningful way. That is why it is important to harmonize good practices and create a critical mass of teachers and trainers able to work with seniors and to promote the acquisition of skills under the European framework for educators to also promote the upskilling of teachers and trainers; increase their mobility opportunities and their digital skills under a common umbrella. https://digitgera.eu/ |
